This is
how it is

This Is How It Is traces my younger years travelling through Southern Europe, Morocco and Turkey, crashing on beaches, harvesting grapes in Crete. Then my mum passed away suddenly, and everything shifted. After a period of stabilisation came a crazy summer season in a Newquay hotel. Whilst hitchhiking on my travels I’ d been vaguely aware of Something bigger guiding me,. a feeling which became real when out of nowhere I experienced a sudden awakening on a grey early morning walking into an East London tube station. Later parts cover time spent in Jerusalem, why politics so broken and far from being “the solution” for me is “the problem”, why decided to stop voting at general elections. It’s me sharing how I see life now. The world can be tough, but faith, football, music, family and quiet retirement days keep it worthwhile.
